[A mouthful …YES we know, so we lovingly also call it KEPT ]
A concept-driven project for collaboration
Using her art practice as a foundation, KESIENA founded + co-created KEPT studio with the many faceless and nameless makers who create the found, foraged and reclaimed materials from which her art + objects are re-worked. KEPT’s ultimate collaboration is connecting the dots between our relationships with materials and Earth’s abundant environment, with emphasis on valuing the natural world.
This multidisciplinary sustainability studio focuses holistically on creating, cultivating and collecting limited edition design objects made exclusively from vintage, recycled, and regenerative materials. KEPT offers goods + services through hosting environmentally-conscious workshops, sourcing vintage, thoughtfully curating handmade artistic items and offering up an intentional and inventive approach to material culture studies.
KEPT studio collaborations are offered in numbered editions and are proudly produced in New York City.

Curiosities Refreshed and remixed objects are updated for modern life. This contemporary Cabinet of Curiosities is full of one-off explorations, which may become limited editions in the future. Our team is ever exploring and always experimenting, so these mix of items are the results from our R&D lab instantly available for purchase.
