Petrified wood is crystalized wood that has formed over millions of years due to a process that incorporates minerals like, quartz into the wood, turning the wood into a stone. The quality of these stones are exceptional and it’s very difficult to find this quality of ancient stones as the region does not allow mining anymore to preserve protected land. The beauty of natural gemstones are that each one is entirely one-of-a-kind. History concentrated into a gem. Thousands or millions of years, forming unique subtleties and variations of color and pattern in each stone over time. Making every necklace a distinctive piece to treasure. The sterling silver is marked 925.

Item[s] will be scheduled for pick-up in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. A small handling fee of $4 will be applied to local pickups at check-out to help cover the costs of in-person order fulfillment.     Excellent Expected signs of subtle irregularities, inherent to the handcrafted nature of the work. Overall, the piece displays a remarkable quality.
