About Studio Glass: Studio Glass as an artistic practice emerged in the United States during the 1960s. So, it is still considered a relatively “new“ art form. There are other glassmaking techniques, that are ancient and can be traced all the way back to ancient Egypt. We love glass here at KEPT! The best examples of beautifully made studio glass objects hold high value for collectors, as they can be delicate, quite difficult to create, and each piece is unique. All of which makes it a great keepsake to pass down.
