This is a beautiful vintage hand-blown glass vase.

This one-of-a-kind glass bud vase uses millefiori [ Italian for a thousand flowers ] in blown glass techniques. Herb A. Thomas is an American glass artist based on the east coast. Signed by the artist, with his signature HAT.

About Studio Glass: Studio Glass as an artistic practice emerged in the United States during the 1960s. So, it is still considered a relatively “new“ art form. There are other glassmaking techniques, that are ancient and can be traced all the way back to ancient Egypt. We love glass here at KEPT! Due to the handcrafted nature of the materials collected by KEPT, irregularities should be appreciated for their individual quality, enhancing the uniqueness of the objects, which is an integral part of the brand.   • Shipping amount is added at check-out. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing before shipping. Shipping glass items requires additional care and handling. We’re committed to making sure each order is prepared with the needed attention and appreciate your patience. 

    • Ru$h $hipping:

      If you need items quicker, it’s a possibility, with ru$h $hipping, which is an additional shipping fee.

    • Local Pick-Up Option:

      In order to cut down on carbon emissions & pollution from shipping and reduce packaging waste, this item will be available for local pick-up to those in NYC. Item[s] will be scheduled for pick-up in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. A small handling fee of $4 will be applied to local pickups at check-out to help cover the costs of in-person order fulfillment. After the order is confirmed, someone from the KEPT studio team will reach out via e-mail to arrange and confirm further details. Thank you!

  • Mint‍ Virtually no wear, mostly refers to vintage that has never been worn or often unused.

    Excellent Expected signs of wear, and/or faint patinas may be present, consistent with item’s age. Overall the item remains in a highly preserved quality for an item of its age.

    Very Good Condition consistent with age or medium, exhibiting minor wear and surface imperfections that do not detract from overall appearance or usability. May include light scuffing, minor surface scratches or slight fading.

    Good Noticeable wear or signs of use. While there may be some visible flaws, item is still overall intact. Could use mending and/or cleaning.

    Fair A piece of vintage that is most likely not wearable, but could serve as a fantastic inspiration piece. May require repair or restoration to return item to optimal condition.
